Minnesota Masonic Charities' Matching Funds Scholarship Program
The Minnesota Masonic Charities' Matching Funds Scholarship program is designed to give Minnesota Lodges and Chapters recognition for their charitable endeavors. The local Lodge/Chapter is asked to select the students and to determine the amount of the scholarships; Minnesota Masonic Charities then matches those scholarships, up to the 2007 maximum matching award per lodge of $1,500.00. To apply for the program, an application must be submitted by the local Minnesota Masonic Lodge or Eastern Star Chapter, to the Grand Lodge office. (The Grand Lodge office administers this program for Minnesota Masonic Charities.) A new and exciting scholarship program, Signature Scholarships, has been also authorized for funding, to begin in 2008. These new scholarships will be for up to $5000, renewable for four years up to $20,000, and will be competitive scholarships based on merit.
